What is The Perch?
The Perch is a global, public community feed — think of it as a forum that lives inside Bredify. Unlike your club's internal feed, The Perch is open to everyone on the platform, regardless of which organization they belong to. Visitors can read all posts without an account; signing in unlocks the ability to participate.
What can you do there?
Post in 5 categories, each with its own purpose:
- Discussion — Start a conversation, ask a question, share an opinion with the wider breeding community
- Achievement — Celebrate a successful clutch, a rare hatch, a breeding milestone, or anything worth sharing
- Tip — Share a husbandry tip, a care technique, or hard-won experience that others can learn from
- For Sale — List birds or equipment you have available
- Wanted — Let the community know what you're looking for
Engage with others:
- Reply to any post to join the conversation
- Like posts to show appreciation
- Filter the feed by category to see only what interests you
Moderation: Post authors can edit or delete their own posts. Pinned posts from the Bredify team stay at the top for important announcements.
